Yes. Handled With Care Residential Services operates in full alignment with Florida's Agency for Persons with Disabilities (APD) standards and regulations. We work directly with APD, Support Coordinators, and families to implement Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and maintain accurate compliance documentation throughout the care process.

We work collaboratively with the individual, their family, and their APD Support Coordinator to understand and implement the ISP. Our staff are trained to follow individualized plans closely, and we maintain thorough documentation to track progress and ensure compliance. ISPs are treated as living documents — we communicate any changes promptly with all relevant parties.

Absolutely — family involvement is something we genuinely value. You're welcome to visit, participate in care meetings, and stay as connected as you and your loved one wish to be. We coordinate visits in advance to respect the routines of all residents, but there is no limit to how involved families can be. Open communication with families is a core part of how we work.
